There are many resources that you can use as you begin the test preparation process. The internet also provides access to test study guides and free practice tests that will help you prepare as well.

QUESTION
It is a few nights before the board exam, and you have to study your PodiatryPrep CDs in order to retain the information. What’s the best study method?
Cramming? Long – uninterrupted study sessions? Drinking an energy drink and staying up all night? The answer can be found with your breaks!
ANSWER
If you take frequent short breaks, your memory will retain the information on each CD better than one of the aforementioned study strategies.

Test-Taking Tips for Podiatry Boards
The following Test-Taking tips have been collected from experienced FARC staff members.
1. Answer every question as there is no penalty for guessing.
2. Trust your instincts – be careful about changing your 1st answer.
3. Read the answers first before you read the question.
4. Get a god night sleep the night before the examination.
5. Leave your Ego at the door, remember it is only a test.
6. Recall is best enhanced by repetition.
7. Be motivated to study.
8. Take care of your physical health.
9. Study a little every day, don’t cram the night before the test.
10. Eliminate external distractions to studying.
11. Get comfortable when studying and taking the test.
12. Maintain your focus and try not to day-dream.
13. Use the process of elimination for answers.
